Holding Space for Grief: Christa Rae and Critter Highway

Hey Wild Things!

I crossed paths with Christa Rae at her breath work workshop at the Shambhala Music Festival in 2025. I was  honored to collaborate with her on a guided meditation on holding space for grief. I contributed the music and the video, Christa brought her wisdom and words.

About Christa Rae:
Christa Rae is a nature led somatic guide, death-doula, singer/songwriter, grief educator and forever student of our beautiful mother earth. Her journey of cultivating self-worth, prioritizing presence, and honoring pain and adversity as her greatest teachers has led to a powerful facilitation and coaching style which is grounded in deep embodied wisdom, and relational presence.

She believes strongly that our felt sense of belonging and enoughness is our birthright; that healing is not a destination we strive for but a remembering we soften into. Her mission is to help guide others on this journey back to their heart's wisdom and wholeness.

Behind the Scenes Part 1 & 2

Hey Wild Things,

I tell you what, this Aries season has been putting my business skills to the test. I've had to put the monthly subscription on hold, and redirect back to cashflow coming from live shows and album sales. Until I sort out the accounting side of things, I will continue to give you special content for free.

Please consider supporting my art with donations through my tip jar and purchasing my music. These songs are how I pay my rent.

The following are two of the video treats. Enjoy!

CRITTER HIGHWAY Featured in SARC Reclaim Recalma Magazine

WILD THINGS I AM IN A MAGAZINE!!!! Ahwoooo!!!

VIEW RELAIM//RECLAMA HERE

The Sexual Assault Resource Center has released the digital edition of the RECLAIM//RECLAMA. It is an art magazine of stories, poems, prose, visual art, photography, and other types of creative expression made by people across Oregon who have been impacted by sexual violence.

Sexual violence can include many different experiences. Reclaim//Reclama is a publication that provides a platform for people whose stories and existences are often silenced or underrepresented in discussions around sexual violence. Expressions of trauma and trauma recovery through various forms of art can be deeply meaningful to both the artists who create these works, as well as people who see, read, hear and experience them.

🌑THE DARK GODDESS SESSION - Happy New Moon!🦇

Wild things! Happy New Moon!

I've recorded my first LIVE SET from my studio in Portland, Oregon. I've been eager to get back out on stage where I can be loud and seen. With the amount of rage and reaction around current events, I wanted to offer a space where you can find release in a safe container.

👹 Enjoy, and rage on.🔥

Keep an eye out next week for a behind the scenes look at the creative process (and elbow grease) that it took to bring The Dark Goddess Session to live.
